HSR Exploration Committee Goals and Structure
The HSR Exploration Committee (HSR-EC, or the Committee), is essentially a business development team. Although our current focus is on Eastern European high-speed railway projects, our efforts in this area have extrapolated to initiatives in Central Asia and Caucasus, including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbajzhan, Georgia, Armenia.
The Committee is in the process of identifying and consolidating resources, expertise, and innovative ideas in support of High-Speed Rail initiatives. In parallel we assess the feasibility of other infrastructure improvement opportunities in the regions of our interest, and welcome inquiries from those interested in collaborating in HSR field.
Such national electric transportation projects revive economies and manufacturing sectors of involved countries by creating millions of new jobs. It also greatly reduces dependency on oil, as well as national carbon footprints. The most immediate benefit to citizens and visitors to the country is the modern, clean, efficient, safe and affordable transportation that HSR advances can provide.
We join the growing number of individuals and organizations in the international community committed to building widespread public, business, and political support for major investments in national high speed rail networks.
